NYS, CSEA reach agreement; rank-and-file to vote

MidHudson News is reporting that Gov. Kathy Hochul on June 3 announced the state has reached a tentative contract agreement with the 52,000-member Civil Service Employees Association. Rank-and-file must now approve the five-year proposal. Coming just weeks before the Democratic gubernatorial primary election, Hochul called the agreement “a win-win for CSEA members and the state of New York.” Union President Mary Sullivan said the proposed contract “recognizes the dedicated CSEA members who kept this state running during the entire COVID pandemic and continue to do so every day.” Read the full story at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
