Saugerties board keeps leadership stable

William J. Kemble reports in The Daily Freeman that the Saugerties school board re-elected President Robert Thomann and Vice President James Mooney July 11. Members Raymond Maclary and Paul VanSchaack were absent from the vote that was unanimous. “We have to make sure ... what our priorities are and ... see how that jibes with the forthcoming district action plan,” Thomann said. The board also added Raymond Preusser as independent auditor and retained Thomas, Drohan, Waxman, Petigrow and Mayle as the district’s law firm. Board meetings were scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month, with additional gatherings Aug. 29, March 20, April 18, May 15, and May 22. Read the full story in The Daily Freeman.
