At peaceful Kinderhook protest, couple brandishes gun, then leave with police

A Kinderhook couple brandished a gun at protesters walking past their house July 11 and, after 45 minutes, left with police. Hudson Mayor Kamal Johnson, who is also a volunteer programmer at WGXC, attended the protest, and posted video of some of the incident on Facebook, and this explanation of what happened. PLAY EXCERPT HERE. Johnson reported that police brought the couple to a police car, without handcuffs, after about 45 minutes, and then drove away. It is unknown whether they were arrested or were just being questioned.
