Chameides resigns as mayoral aide in Hudson

Jun 08, 2021 12:03 pm

Aliya Schneider reports for Columbia-Greene Media that Hudson Mayoral Aide Michael Chameides said June 7 that he is resigning. “I found the experience incredibly rewarding,” he said. Chameides will remain Third Ward supervisor, but finishes his role in the mayor's office on June 11. He said he will start a new job after that, but would not reveal what job that is. Hudson Mayor Kamal Johnson won't announce his new staff member until after the June 22 Hudson Democratic primary. “I’m thankful to Chameides for his service to our city,” Johnson said. “I look forward to continuing to work with him through his role as County Supervisor in order to make our city more equitable.” Full disclosure: Johnson is a WGXC volunteer programmer.
