Conservative group ranks NY low for taxes

Chelsea Diana in The Albany Business Review reports that New York a conservative think tank claims New York has the second-worst business tax climate in the country. The Tax Foundation says New York's regulations for income, property, and sales taxes has them ranked just above New Jersey. In the conservative group's survey New York came in number 12 in corporate taxes, but very low in most other metrics. Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska, Florida, and Nevada ranked highest, according to the group. Read the full story in The Albany Business Review.
