Adam Penale reports for New York State of Politics that New York Senator Chuck Schumer has tested positive for COVID-19. Schumer's office says the majority leader is fully vaccinated and only experiencing mild symptoms, and is quarantining this week. “As a part of his regular testing regimen, Leader Schumer received a positive test result for COVID-19,” Justin Goodman, a spokesperson for Schumer, said in a statement. “The Leader is fully vaccinated and double boosted, and has very mild symptoms.
