Daniel Zuckerman reports for Columbia-Greene Media that five new ski trails are now opening at Hunter Mountain, the largest ski resort expansion on the East Coast in more than 15 years according to the business. The expansion cost $9 million and added 25 to 30 percent more acreage between Hunter Mountain and Hunter West. The expansion includes a six-person detachable lift and a parking lot for 250 vehicles.
