Canaan resident Joanna Ezinga begins her second through hike on the Appalachian Trail, Wed., Mar. 18, at Springer Mountain in Georgia. Ezinga will provide WGXC with updates as she journeys the more than 2,000 miles north to Mt. Katahdin in Maine. She called with a message for listeners Tuesday night: PLAY (:45).
