CSEA membership ratifies new contract

Matthew Hamilton is reporting at Capitol Confidential Executive Branch members of the Civil Service Employees Association have ratified a new five-year contract with the state. The agreement between union leaders and Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration was reached in June. The new contract provides for 2 percent annual raises, as well as other benefits. The agreement covers more than 60,000 state government workers. The previous contract expired in March 2016. Read the full story in the Times Union.
