DEC urges hunters to be safe

The Albany Times-Union reports that last year there were no hunters killed in New York during hunting season, but this year four have died so far. Besides the deaths, last week, a hunter in Columbia County wounded a Department of Environmental Conservation officer. Three other hunters have been wounded in other accidents.
