The Daily Freeman reports that the Catskill Mountain Foundation has opened a second gallery and bookstore, the Kaaterskill Shoppe, at 6042 Main St. in Tannersville. The Foundation also runs the Village Square Bookstore in a corner of the Foundation’s Kaaterskill Fine Arts & Crafts Gallery in Hunter Village Square on the mountaintop. The new store in Tannersville is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Tuesdays. The Catskill Mountain Foundation was founded in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization to put on arts performances in the area. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
