Barrett to chair Veterans Affairs committee

On Dec. 18 Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, a Democrat, announced leadership positions and committee chairs for the upcoming legislative session. Locally, Didi Barrett is the only Democrat in the Assembly, and she will chair the Veterans Affairs committee.
