The Daily Freeman is reporting the Catskill village Department of Public Works will clean and repaint on-street parking spaces and crosswalk areas along Main Street beginning at 7 a.m. Sun., May 3. Beginning at 11:59 p.m. Sat., May 2, parking is prohibited on Main Street between Green Street and Summit Avenue. Residents who usually park on Main Street are advised to use the municipal parking lots. Any vehicle parked on the roadway in violation of the no parking notice will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. As soon as the work is completed, Main Street will reopen for parking.
