Supervisors pick new IT director

John Mason writes in the Register Star a Columbia County Board of Supervisors search committee has recommended Richard Juliano be appointed the county’s chief technology officer. Juliano would head up the county’s Management Information Systems Department effective Oct. 15, replacing Randy Wheeler, who resigned in June. Juliano resigned his post as network systems engineer at Taconic Hills Central School District effective Oct. 12. The appointment was made pending full board approval.
