Village board seeks guidance on placing signs

William J. Kemble is reporting in the Daily Freeman Catskill village officials are waiting to learn where new weight limit signs should be placed before marking village streets with new five-ton restrictions. The weight limit law was passed earlier this year. The regulations cannot be enforced until signs are placed. The village attorney must now determine if posting signs at the municipal boundaries provides sufficient notice for oversized vehicles. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
