Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District | Closing at 11 a.m.
Catskill Village Police Department has declared a snow emergency, beginning 8 p.m., Tue., Jan. 29. Beginning at 8 p.m., all vehicles must be parked on the odd side of the street through 8 a.m., Wed., Jan. 30. Vehicles must then be moved to the even side of the street from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Wed. Vehicles should continue to be moved every 12 hours, until the snow emergency is canceled. Parking enforcement will remain in effect until all snow is removed from village streets. From 11 p.m., Tue., until 8 a.m., Wed., parking on Main Street from Greene Street to Summit Avenue is prohibited to allow for snow removal. Residents who usually park on Main Street are advised to use the municipal parking lots. All vehicles parked in violation of these of these regulations will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. Those with questions are advised to call the police department at (518) 943-2244.
