Foliage locally just past peak colors

New York State's foliage report has our are just past peak colors this week. "In the Catskills, reports from the higher elevations of Greene County in Windham, Hunter, Tannersville, and Catskill Park predict peak and just-past-peak foliage, highlighted by brilliant fall colors. Greene County spotters in Catskill expect peak to past-peak foliage with vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow.... Expect 70-85 percent change and peak leaves in Columbia County, with spectacular and bright colors, according to spotters in the City of Hudson.... Albany County spotters at Thacher State Park in Voorheesville project 80 percent leaf change by the weekend, with brilliant peak leaves of orange and red. Nearby reports from Altamont along the Helderberg Escarpment predict nearly total change with peak to just-past-peak foliage.... Rensselaer County spotters in Rensselaer and Troy expect peak conditions and 85 percent change with a full spectrum of fall color, including brilliant orange, bright yellow, and gorgeous orange-red leaves. Some leaf droppage has been reported," the report reads, in part.
