More Hudson Valley COVID-19 cases
MidHudson News reports that health officials announced another 1,474 people in the Hudson Valley/Catskills region tested positive for COVID-19 on May 18, the State Health Department said. That announcement included another death, in Westchester County. Columbia County added 33 new cases, and Greene County added 26 more. The entire area is considered at high risk of COVID-19 spread, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That means wearing masks indoors is recommended, so that more people do not catch the virus, and so there will be fewer deaths in the future to report. Read more about this story at MidHudson News.
