Diane Valden reports in the Columbia Paper that the town of Ancram is getting a new shed to house its off-season equipment, though it is smaller than the current shed, and its expense will delay other projects in the town. Ancram Supervisor Art Bassin said that because of the shed cost, the town “can’t do everything else we wanted to do this year” like repave the parking lot and put a new roof on the Town Hall, but “we’ll deal with it.” The expense brings the year-end cash projection to $609,000, down from the $718,000 year-end cash projection Ancram had last month.
