Stec’s departure leaves Patrick Ziegler, who received the Essex County endorsement Friday night, and Chris Gibson, who was endorsed by the Saratoga County Republicans Friday. "So now it’s down to a blank-slate veteran supported by the establishment and the tea party candidate," one commenter on the Albany Times-Union blog wrote.
