Carly Miller is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media solar company Cypress Creek Renewables is moving forward with its plans to purchase 60 acres of land at 1180 Bogart Road in Palenville for the construction of a 2-megawatt commercial solar farm. Cypress Creek's revised proposal, presented at April 10 planning board meeting, included a landscaping plan with a buffer of trees around the farm to shield the view for neighbors. Board members could not review the lot line adjustments at the meeting, however, because the company did not submit the proper plans, Izzo said. No public hearings on the project have been held as yet. Read the full story at HudsonValley360 [dot] com.
