Catskill Town Board renames two roads

Mar 13, 2013 5:43 am
William J. Kemble is reporting in the Daily Freeman the Catskill Town Board has approved names for two roads to accommodate Greene County 911 requirements that locations are clearly designated for emergency calls. The names were adopted following recent public hearings. Town officials said one of the changes was made to avoid confusion among two Hill Roads in the town. One is located in Cementon, the other is in Palenville. The road in Palenville has been renamed Ben Hill Road after the first person to build on the road 25 years ago. Officials also established a shared driveway as Nappa Lane. It is located near Cairo Junction Road and state Route 23B. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
