Governor Andrew Cuomo spoke out March 1 against the recent slew of bomb threats to Jewish community centers around the country at the Sidney Albert Albany JCC. Bombs threats have been placed with Jewish centers in Albany, Staten Island, Buffalo, Manhattan, Westchester County, and Long Island in the past month. Cuomo announced a grant program, a reward, and a text hotline last week to combat hate crimes and anti-Semitism in New York State.
