Cuomo, in Ulster, touts Catskills campaign

The Daily Freeman reports that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in Ulster County Oct. 23, visiting Minnewaska State Park with a $7.3 million project to improve that park, and a $5 million Catskills region tourism ad campaign beginning in 2016. The tourism ad campaign will feature TV ads, expanded bus service from New York City, and extensive marketing to tour operators and travel agents in international markets, including China, Australia, Great Britain, Germany, and Canada.
