Seward, Murphy in the area this weekend

State Senator James L. Seward (R/C/I-Oneonta) will be in Catskill, Sunday, Sept. 13 attending a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Catskill Central School District’s enhanced secondary facility at noon. The ceremony will take place during the fourth annual Parents, Partners and Pancakes event. Congressman Scott Murphy (D-NY20) will be nearby on Saturday Sept. 12, with two events in Dutchess County. First, at 11 a.m. he has a "Growing Small Business Workshop" with representatives from the Small Business Administration, the New York Business Development Corporation, and the Empire State Development Corporation at Arlington High School, 1157 Route 55, Lagrangeville, NY. Then, at 1 p.m. he has a "Congress-On-Your-Corner in Pleasant Valley" at Pleasant Valley Town Hall, 1554 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, NY.
