Earthquake?
Jun 23, 2010 2:53 pm
Goro and I here at the WGXC office in Hudson just thought we saw the building shake. And then I read in the Capitol Confidential blog:
What just felt like a minor earthquake was just felt in the TU’s Capitol suite and, apparently, at the TU mothership in Colonie. Could this be a sign that God, Allah, Gaia or whoever wants to see the state budget passed, and pronto? What’s next, the rain of frogs? Update: TU editor Susan Mehalick reports that the shimmy was felt by Albany-based DOT staff taking part in a conference with colleagues in Watertown and Buffalo who also felt it. Initial reports suggest that the quake was centered near Cornwall, on the Canadian border.
