May 01, 2018 11:26 am
Audrey Matott reports in The Greenville Pioneer that Greenville approved its $7.2 million sewer district extension on April 16. The project will extend the town's sewer 2,000 feet east on State Route 81, and a bit north on Route 32 in Greenville, adding 20 customers. The town has secured about $1.6 million in grant funding, and is looking for more to lower the current $5.6 million price tag to Greenville taxpayers. Any homeowner with a current system older than 10 years is required to join the new service. Read the full story in The Greenville Pioneer.
