Local counties crossing 50 percent, or 60 percent, vaccination rates

Greene County is about to cross the 50 percent mark for adults with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, while Albany County is already over 60 percent, and Ulster County is about to hit that mark. New York's vaccine tracker website reports that 61.9 percent of Albany County residents have received at least one vaccine dose so far. The number is 59.6 percent in Ulster County, 56.3 percent in Columbia County, 55.3 percent in Rensselaer County, and 54.4 percent in Dutchess County. Vaccinations are at 49.6 percent in Greene County. Further outside the Hudson Valley, 45.1 percent of all Schoharie County residents have received a vaccination dose, and 43.6 percent of the population of Delaware County.
