Columbus Day activities
• The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater visits Hudson’s waterfront with a folk music singalong from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m at Henry Hudson Riverfront Park, between the Amtrak Station and the Hudson River.
• Local band Voodelic performs at Club Helsinki Monday evening. CDs on shelf and songs in Campcaster.

• For Columbus Day the "WGXC Afternoon Show" explores the legacy of Christopher Columbus with interviews with University of Albany Professor Kitty Pelerin, indigenous community leaders, local community members and music from hip-hop artists, Antithesis, Head-Roc, and Alixa & Naima; as well as folk singer Buffy Sainte-Marie.
