Bill Williams is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media three construction workers were taken to Albany Medical Center April 16, after a scaffold collapsed at the Catskill Creek Condominiums in the village. According to Lt. Ronald Frascello of the Catskill Police Department, the two men and a woman, are employees of Queens-based Belfor Property Restoration. The company is rebuilding a unit at the condominium complex on Marina Drive. The condo was destroyed by fire last year. The two men were working on the scaffolding when the sheathing being installed on the second floor of the building broke loose and fell, knocking the scaffolding out from under the men and causing them to fall two stories to the ground. One of the men was pinned between the scaffolding and the building. The third worker, a woman, was standing on the ground and was hit by the scaffolding when it fell, Catskill police said. All three were taken to Albany by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries, Frascello said. Read the full story at HudsonValley360 [dot] com.
