Columbia-Greene Media reports that on Nov. 29 New Lebanon Town Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling announced a $500,000 grant from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation for improvements at Shatford Memorial Park. The grant will mean a new playground; a senior fitness equipment area and fitness walking loop; new benches and shade trees; and new pathways.
