MidHudson News reports that previously the plan was to attract another hotel to the area along Route 23B west of Thruway Exit 21 in Catskill. So far local officials have spent $3 million demolishing buildings and buying eight parcels. Now they are spending another $1.5 million from the American Rescue Plan Act to extend natural gas service from Jefferson Heights to the site. Read more about this story at MidHudson News.
