Ariel Zangla writes in the Daily Freeman a contract to install a steel communications tower on property provided to Greene County by Windham Mountain has been given final approval. The Greene County Legislature last week adopted a resolution awarding the construction job to CDE Electric of Cairo. The resolution was adopted in a 13-0 vote with Legislature Chairman Wayne Speenburgh absent. The tower will be installed after the snow melts, County Administrator Shaun Groden has said.
