Bard Professor wins Pulitzer Prize

The Daily Freeman reports that Bard College Literature Professor Hua Hsu’s memoir “Stay True” won a 2023 Pulitzer Prize. Hsu is also a staff writer at The New Yorker. The memoir is coming-of-age account that “considers intense, youthful friendships but also random violence that can suddenly and permanently alter the presumed logic of our personal narratives,” according to a press release.
