Cairo-Durham Central School District Superintendent Mary Fassett reads a prepared statement at the opening of the December 19, 2013 Board of Education meeting. She addresses the minor bus accident, which occurred on December 17, 2013. No one was injured in the incident. On December 17, 2013 the majority of Greene and Columbia County schools were closed due to inclement weather. Cairo-Durham and Greenville in Greene County were the exceptions. Fassett also addresses what she refers to as "a belief in the community that there will be a grade-level realignment presentation this evening."
