George Carlin, 'Class Clown' and 'Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television' inducted into archive

Last week George Carlin's 1972 album "Class Clown," his fourth, was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry due to its "cultural, historic, or artistic significance." Recorded on May 27, 1972 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California, and released in September, "Class Clown," dedicated to Lenny Bruce, contains the "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television."
