NASA, New York sign drone deal

The Albany Times Union reports that NASA will work with an alliance of radio-controlled drone researchers on a drone testing facility in central New York. The plans call for a 50-mile (80-kilometer) air test corridor between Syracuse and Rome. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration has already spent $40 million on drone-related projects.
