A city-wide listening party to celebrate Hudson Pride. WGXC will air Storycorps founder David Isay’s Remembering Stonewall, the first documentary of any kind on the Stonewall Riots. Around the world, LGBT events are held in late June to commemorate the anniversary of the riots, which began in Greenwich Village, in response to a raid at the Stonewall Inn, on June 28, 1969. This is a collaboration between Oral History Summer School, in conjunction with the Hudson Pride Foundation, and WGXC. The Hudson Opera House listening party will be followed by conversation, and snacks and refreshments will be served.
