Host Tom Roe interviews artists Ebru Kurbak and Irene Posch about their Knitted Radio project created while in residency at Eyebeam (New York, NY). Knitted Radio is an imaginative experimentation using textile technology and conductive fibers to craft a sweater that is also an FM transmitter with the intention to create debate about marginalized producer and user groups as well as alternative manufacture economies. Roddy Schrock, Director of Residencies and Programs at Eyebeam, will also join the conversation to discuss Eyebeam's efforts to support the creative research, production, and presentation of initiatives querying art, technology, and culture. Also, listen to the new 4' 33" app from the Tivoli, NY-based John Cage Trust. Live from Wave Farm.
