Feedforward monitors and transforms physical space through compositionally and improvisatorially driven responses to small and large-scale variations in environmental sound. Decontrolled (West Hall Gallery 111) investigates and attempts to reprogram the redundant energy projections of mainstream radio in live sound projection and propagation systems. The two works will be realized on Friday, September 30 in a series of events executed at various locations on the RPI campus. For site locations on September 30, please call (518) 276-4829. Beginning on October 1, Decontrolled (Broken Surround) will be installed in West Hall Gallery 111 through October 26.
