On episode #53 of the FFFoxy Podcast, we played and talked-up several noteworthy reissue/archival-related titles by the likes of Ghedalia Tazartès, Phil Yost, Pip Proud, Aine O’Dwyer and more. We also dipped into the stacks of tapes that we’ve received in recent months to pull out some of our favorites. We’ve been particularly fascinated by the pulverizing electronic shenanigans of Mark Dicker, the sparse late-night songs of Obody, the woozy sound collages of Sumbu Dunia (and the entirety of the new Noumenal Loom tape batch), and the dreamy guitar drift of Cloudsound. On top of that, we spun the latest vinyl offerings from Sean McCann and Tracey Trance, both brilliant in their own unique way.
