From the World Trade Organization protests in Seattle in 1999 through Occupy Wall Street today, free103point9, WGXC's parent organization has collected sound works by artists engaged in the protests. Artists such as Christopher deLaurenti, Gregory Whitehead, neuroTransmitter, Seth Price, and others have used the protest movement as a template for some if their work. This special will highlight protest sound art from the last 12 years, and also historic works.
