We are mere weeks away from WGXC's FM signal launch. The crew from Northeast Tower has finished hanging our antenna (see photos from Al Davis above) on an existing cell phone tower, and have built an Equipment Shelter at the base. Our transmitter is being completed in Valatie by Energy-Onix and as soon as it is ready we will plug it in and conduct our first test broadcasts on 90.7-FM. WGXC will begin continuous broadcasting with a public event tentatively scheduled for the Catskill Community Center.

free103point9 is pleased to participate in Printed Matter's fifth annual NY Art Book Fair, November 5–7 at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens. Included in Artists & Activists, a curated selection of independent
publishing by artists, free103point9 will feature two newly released projects: the publication Deep Cycle by Max Goldfarb and the fm transmitter kit Tinderbox v1.01 by Brett Ian Balogh. Free and open to the public, the Fair hosts over 200 international presses, booksellers, antiquarian dealers, artists and publishers from twenty countries, offering the best in contemporary art book publishing.
