Paul Winkeller, the Executive Director of the New York Bicycle Coalition, brings listeners up-to-date on bike-related legislation in Albany, and a few major bicycling events across the state, from WGXC's partner station WOOC-LP in Troy, New York. Also, an interview with New Lebanon Town Clerk Tistrya Houghtling about her primary election against attorney Don Boyajian in the 107th State Assembly District. The winner takes on Republican Assemblyman Jake Ashby in the general election in November. The district includes Washington, Rensselaer, and Columbia counties. Ashby narrowly defeated Cindy Doran in an April 24 special election to replace Republican Steve McLaughlin.
