In the second hour, an interview with singer-songwriter Gwen Snyder Siegal, leader of the Blueberry dance band, based in Saugerties and Catskill. Blueberry is one of three featured acts on the lineup for WGXC’s Sixth Annual New Year’s Eve Party, Dec. 31 at the Half Moon in Hudson. The WGXC Morning Show is a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, reports on cultural issues, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community, made mostly through volunteers in the community through WGXC. Some reports come from our partner station, WOOC-LP in Troy, out of The Sanctuary for Independent Media. Broadcast live from the Acra studio at the Wave Farm Study Center.
