Today we broadcast the entire interview with Verlyn Klinkenborg, at 4:15 p.m. Klinkenborg is the author of several books including "Making Hay" and "The Last Fine Time," a member of The New York Times Editorial Board, and a professor. His work has appeared in magazines including The New Yorker, Harper's, and National Geographic, and his column, "The Rural Life," appears regularly on the editorial page of the New York Times. A resident of Columbia County, Klinkenborg talks in this interview about writing, noticing, and the fairytale of the current agricultural landscape. We'll be joined at 5:30 for a live set with blues musician Petey Hop Hopkinson, playing tonight at Club Helsinki Hudson.
