Today on the "WGXC Afternoon Show" hosts Melinda Braathen, Noah Reibel, and Sara Kendall talk to WGXC Station Manager Lynn Sloneker about the presentation of code of conduct advisory committee report to the Hudson Board of Education. N.Y. Also, artist Marina Abramovic held a press event this morning to unveil the design for The Marina Abramovic Institute for the Preservation of Performance Art at MoMA PS 1. This afternoon we'll air excepts from the press event, and an interview with Hudson City Supervisor Sarah Sterling. We'll also air audio from the May Day "Free University" that took place in Madison Park Square in New York City on May 1; we'll hear Kendall's conversation with David Harvey, the author of The Right to the City. Chloe Caldwell, the author of the recently released title "Legs Get Led Astray" and the organizer of the Hudson River Loft Reading Series, will be joining us on today at 5 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. we'll be joined by Scotty Mac, of Scotty Mac and the Rockin' Bonnevilles, for a live performance; they'll be performing tonight at Club Helsinki in Hudson.
