Today we are presenting Latinx Poetry and Music a Lasting Connection. 

The Poetry of Spaniards Antonio Machado, Miguel Hernandez and Gabriel Celaya, Chilean Pablo Neruda, Argentinian Jorge Luis Borges, Cuban Jose Marti, with the music of Cuarteto Zupay, Polo Montañez, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Joan Manuel Serrat and Paco Ibañez Poetry and Music is embedded in the Latino Canto Popular. In between the poetic songwriters and singers with their own creation like Luis Alberto Spinetta, Patxi Andion and Maria Elena Walsh. Enjoy the music and the poetry.


“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages, and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, "Nuestra Música" presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with an S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo, and many more.
