Patrocinado por la UNESCO, más de 190 países celebrarán el Día Internacional del Jazz y Tangier, Morocco será el país anfitrión. Durante nuestra hora musical, Nuestra Música presentará Latinx Jazz de Argentina, Brasil, España, México y Cuba, entre otros, con músicos profundamente influenciados por esta única creación Americana. Celebrating International Jazz Day
The UNESCO sponsored International Jazz Day will be celebrated in more than 190 countries with the city of Tangier, Morocco, serving as a Global Host. During our hour-long show, Nuestra Música, will be presenting Latinx Jazz, from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Cuba and many more and musicians deeply influenced by the unique American creation. “Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, Nuestra Música presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with and S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo and many more.
