This broadcast is a tribute to Pete Tolson of The Pretty Things, born Sept. 10, 1951, in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, and died Apr. 20, 2016, For two hours, only Pretty Things songs that Pete wrote and/or played on from the LPs Freeway Madness (1972), Silk Torpedo (1974), Savage Eye (1975) and Cross Talk (1980), as well as some Pretty Things non-LP singles. Plus audio biographical remembrances of Tolson recorded by Pretty Thing Wally Waller and pre-eminent Pretty Things scholar Mike Stax of Ugly Things Magazine will air.
